Bedrooms
Willowvale has four large bedrooms each with either a double or twin beds. We have several cots and fold away beds which can be added to any of the rooms to give the perfect layout for your stay.
Blue Room
The principal bedroom has a dual aspect with south facing view over the side garden and a west facing view over the main garden. There is a sumptuous super king bed and a generously sized en-suite bathroom with separate shower and bath, as well as twin sinks.
Green Room
The green bedroom has a dual aspect with south facing view over the side garden and an east facing view over the neighbouring field. There is a king bed and a small en-suite shower room.
Pink Room
The pink bedroom has two single beds with two foldaway beds stored beneath. The bedroom has a bright bay window looking out over the main garden. The bedroom has a large selection of children’s books. This bedroom shares the family bathroom across the landing.
Sky Blue Room
The sky blue bedroom has two single beds with a zip and link mattress, so can be configured as a double. The bedroom has a dual aspect overlooking the main garden and a small window looking north. This bedroom shares the family bathroom across the landing.
The Family bathroom is shared by the Pink and Sky Blue Rooms and has a roll top bath and separate shower and most unusually a Juliet balcony.
Reception Rooms
Willowvale has plenty of space to relax and enjoy time with guests of all ages. From the games room that can keep all kids, young and old, entertained, while the drawing room provides a more quiet space to escape. The kitchen which has everything you could need.
Kitchen
The well-equipped kitchen features a four oven Aga at its heart, with a large table that easily seats 12 people. There is everything you could possibly need to prepare and enjoy your gourmet feast, including microwave, mixer, coffee machine and more.
Long Room
The long room is the heart of the house linking all other rooms and provides a space to relax as well as a more formal dining area. It also works extremely well for a ceilidh or other gatherings. The wood burning stove as its centerpiece and throws warmth throughout the house.
Drawing Room
Tucked away off the long room with views over both the side and main gardens, the drawing room is a real sanctuary with an open fire, perfect for enjoying a late evening dram.
Other Rooms
Willowvale also has a Games room with a ping-pong table, TV and DVD player with a large selection of DVDs. The entrance hall has plenty of space to store golf clubs and there is a cloakroom off the hall with laundry facilities and lavatory. There is a spacious landing that leads to all the bedrooms and the family bathroom and there is also a small garden room which contains a number of garden games and gives access to the patio and gardens.
Garden & Grounds
Willowvale sits in almost 2 acres of grounds. The side garden has a patio with plenty of seating for outdoor dining, plus a fire pit to keep you warm in the long evenings. The main garden runs down to the Alton Burn which runs right across the property before winding its way down through the Nairn Championship Golf Course. There are a number of bridges crossing the burn with some small paths running through the woods. The bend in the burn creates a small practice golf hole of around 60 yards from the top of the garden, try your luck at joining the Hole-In-One honours board. There is plenty of parking to thee north side of the house to accommodate larger groups.
